Wake up call 7:30 am. Breakfast buffet 8:00 am. Today will be our last full day on this Yangtze River cruise. Our newsletter for today's schedule should read UPSTREAM instead of downstream. Unfortunately it is raining so we bring our rain jackets, umbrellas, whatever. 😞🌂🌧
Today's tour is to
Fengdou. China's city of ghosts where we visit temples and shrines dedicated to the gods of the underworld. This is the place of final judgment in the Yangtze basin. Landmarks in the town bore horrific names-Ghost Torturing Pass, Last Glance at Home Tower, Nothing to-be-done Bridge, etc.

Back on the ship for lunch and a bridge tour. We pass lovely scenery, some towns. There's also a
demonstration as to how snuff bottles are created. It was so interesting. I buy several.

This is our last evening on board. Tonight is the
Captain's farewell banquet and then a
talent show of traditional Chinese folk songs and dances. We get into the spirit by dancing! It was a great night.
